This live brief was developed for musical artist TYSON’s upcoming EP titled “cherry”.
cherry draws inspiration from 80s-90s RnB, the struggle of self-love, stepping into womanhood, and self-expression.
To actualize this project, we developed a well-rounded experience from online presence, marketing, and overall branding for “cherry”.

cherry, a love story where a disguised entity is formed. You experience the full spectrum of complex emotions towards this entity as you move in harmony, comparing and contrasting what they have expected from you and what you have expected in return, catching a glimpse of who you are in the reflection of this disguised entity. Uncovering the layers of this disguised being.
Ultimately, it has been you all along; undergoing the toughest stage of metamorphosis.
Falling in and out of love with yourself through the layers you’ve uncovered as the process unfolds. Evolving into the woman you are now, taking the love you have for yourself for granted. Eventually you endure your love as it is, realizing you are all you needed and expect nothing more in return from your external partners.
